This is probably one of, if not the best teether on the market today. Our son Linden absolutely loves it. He’s had it since he was about 3 months old and he’s almost 6 months and it’s still one of his favorite tethers. And as a parent, it’s definitely my favorite too!
First of all, it goes on their hand since it’s a mitt, so you don’t have to worry about them poking themselves in their eye, or having to hold it for them, or worry about them dropping it on the floor. Second, because Linden loves to suck on his thumb and stick not only his thumb and fingers in his mouth, but his entire hand, this product is perfect for him. Third, the whole Munch Mitt pretty much fits in his mouth, so he doesn’t get frustrated with it like he does with other toys and teethers. Our son also enjoys chewing not only on the “teether” silicone part, but also on the strap so it keeps him busy even if he gets bored with one end of it!
It comes in 2 sizes, the regular Munch Mitt which comes in 2 colours (a pinky-purple, and a green), and the Munch Mitt Mini comes in yellow. Linden is 5 months old and the Mini still fits him. It’s pretty pricey as far as teethers go, but if you don’t waste your money on other ones, this is the only teether you’ll need.
In Canada, you can purchase it at Westcoast Kids and at Baby’s World/Snuggle Bugz. And in the US, I know you can get it from Amazon.
If you have experienced with the Munch Mitt that you would like to share, post them in the comments below!
