Maintaining a consistent exercise regimen during pregnancy is extremely important for the overall health of both the mother and the baby. However, there are specific things to emphasize and avoid during each trimester, and we are here to help guide you through this moment in your life. In addition to her qualification as an ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine) certified personal trainer, Taylor Meyers is also certified through ACE (American Council of Exercise) for exercise prescription for both prepartum and postpartum women.
Due to the unique demands placed on the female body throughout pregnancy, we believe it is imperative to remain active. Not only is it important to maintain a baseline level of strength during pregnancy, but a mother can benefit greatly from strength training both prior to and after being pregnant.
